Realme officially launched three new phones to their Narzo series, Realme Narzo 20, Narzo 20A and Narzo 20 Pro into different price category. Here you can find everything you need to know about these three high value offering smartphones including specifications, price, availability and our thoughts on each device with mini-comparison against best available options out there.
Realme Narzo 20 Pro Specifications
The key selling point of the Realme Narzo 20 Pro will be the 65W SuperDart Charging at ₹15K segment. The rest of the specs are very similar to recently launched Realme 7. Realme Narz0 20 Pro comes MediaTek Helio G95 SoC which can score up to 300K in AntuTu benchmark. Narzo 20 Pro comes with 6.5-inch Full HD+, 90Hz IPS LCD Panel with 120Hz touch sampling rate and 480nits peak brightness level. It seems we are getting the same display from Realme 7.
On the battery side, the Realme Narzo 20 Pro comes with 4500mAh battery compared to Realme 7’s 5000mAh due to dual-cell battery technology to adapt 65W SuperDart charging. It is capable of charging the full device in just 38 minutes.
The device comes with Quad cameras on the back with a different primary sensor compared to Realme 7. The main camera is a 48MP (f/1.8, 1/2”) sensor. Along with this, we have three other cameras, an 8MP(119 degrees) Ultra-Wide angle lens and two useless cameras for marketing purpose (Maro(4CM) and B&W). On the front, it comes with a 16MP (Sony IMX471) selfie camera in the form of a punch hole in the top left corner.
Realme Narzo 20 Pro weighs 191g with overall dimensions of 162.3mm x 75.4mm x 9.4mm.
The device comes in two colours black ninja and white knight with two storage configurations. The 6GB+64GB variant priced at ₹14999, and 8Gb+128GB variant priced at ₹16999. The phone will be available in Flipkart, realme.com and selected offline stores from 25-th September onwards.
Our Thoughts on Realme Narzo 20 Pro
According to us, Realme 7 was the best smartphone under ₹15K segment in India right now, but with Realme Narzo 20 Pro, we have an equal opponent with a similar set of impressive specs.
Choosing one among them will depend upon personal preference. If you need a phone with a slightly better camera with better battery life and takes 65 minutes to fully charge, then go with Realme 7. if you are ready to compromise somewhat on battery life and camera. Still, love to have the fantastic 65W charging tech then you can go with Realme Narzo 20 Pro, either way, you are picking one of the best in this price category.
Realme Narzo 20 Specifications:
Realme Narzo 20 comes with MediaTek Helio G85 SoC( Antutu 200K) (we have seen it in Redmi Note 9 recently) with 4GB of RAM and 64GB or 128GB of storage. The device has a 6.5-inch HD+ display with usual 60 Hz refresh rate, and they haven’t specified the peak brightness or display protection level.
The phone features a Triple rear camera with 48MP (f1.8) primary camera and 8MP Ultra-Wide angle camera(119-degree FoV) and a useless macro camera (4CM). On the front, it comes with an 8MP(f/2.0) selfie camera on a teardrop notch.
In terms of battery, Narzo 20 comes with a massive 6000mAh with 18W fast charging support through the Type-C port. The device weighs 208g and overall dimensions are 164.5mm x 75.9 mm x 9.8mm. Our Thoughts on Realme Narzo 20
In the ₹10K-12K we have various devices like Redmi 9 Prime at ₹9999, POCO M2 at ₹10499 and Redmi Note 9 at ₹11999. As some of you know, POCO M2 is just the 6GB RAM model of Redmi 9 Prime, and we believe 4GB Ram is enough for this price range. So we are already removing POCO M2 from this situation.
The Redmi 9 Prime offers Full HD+ display with 5000mAH battery,13MP primary rear camera with Helio G80 Processor. So at ₹9999, it is the best option to buy. But the 4GB+128GB variant at ₹11999 overpriced when comparing to its base model.
The Redmi Note 9 comes with Helio G85 SoC, Full HD+ display and 5000mAh battery with a starting price tag of ₹11999 for 6GB+64GB variant. We still think it is the best to buy at ₹12K because Full HD+ display offers a far better user experience than having some extra battery over a phone with already capable of providing great battery life.
It is hard to resist the Realme Narzo 20 with impressive specs at ₹10499 and ₹11999 with Helio G85,6000mAh battery,48MP camera, etc. Maybe we can say that it is the most value offering smartphone at this price. But we didn’t like to see HD+ resolution with these large displays at any price range and will be going for the above two mentioned options. If you are fine with HD+ resolution there is nothing to think about, Realme Narzo 20 offers stellar value for money.
Realme Narzo 20A Specifications
Realme Narzo 20A comes with Snapdragon 665 Processor, and it is its key selling point. It is an excellent processor for this price range (Antutu 180K). The rest of the specs are 5000mAh battery with 10W charging through micro-USB, a triple rear camera with 12MP primary sensor and two extra sensors for marketing. On the front, we have an 8MP selfie camera on the teardrop notch.
The device weighs 195g with overall dimensions of 164.4mm x 75.4mm x 8.9mm. Realme Narzo 20A comes in two colours Glory Silver and Victory blur and Priced at ₹8499 for 3GB+32GB, ₹9499 for 4GB+64GB variant. It will be available from 30 th September onwards from Flipkart and realme.com.
Our Thoughts on Realme Narzo 20A
There is nothing to talk about here, and there is no competition at all. By far the best device in the ₹8K-9.5K segment this year.
