Ahead of the official launch on  5th January, its colour options and storage variants of the Mi 10i have also popped up on the internet. So basically we know everything except the final pricing.

Xiaomi Mi 10i Features and Specifications

Xiaomi Mi 10i is the second smartphone to launch with the latest Snapdragon 750G with integrated 5G modem. Snapdragon 750G is more powerful than SD732, the highest performing chipset in India’s Under 20K segment. The Mi10i will come with UFS 2.2 flash storage and LPDDR4X RAm on board. Xiaomi Mi 10i will come MIUI 12 skin on top of Android 10.

The key selling point of the Xiaomi Mi 10i will be its primary 108MP camera, and It is the latest HM2 Sensor from Samsung which they are going to use in their Flagship S21 Ultra this year. But to remind you, the final picture quality will depend upon Camera Sensor(which is great here) + Lens + Processor ISP and Xiaomi Image Processing(computational photography). So don’t expect the same picture as S21 Ultra or even other 108MP camera phones with better ISPs(in Flagship processors).

Compared to Poco X3, another Xiaomi offering in this pricing, we get a lower megapixel, 8MP ultra-wide instead of 13MP and 16MP selfie camera instead of 20MP to balance the final cost. Other two cameras on the back the typical useless macro and depth sensors.

On the display side, we get the same 6.67 inches centred punch hole 120Hz refresh rate display from Poco X3. The display has a 240Hz touch sampling rate to enhance the gaming experience and 450nits maximum brightness. It is also HDR10 certified and comes with TÜV Rheinland low Blu-ray certification.

In the design department, the device looks very similar to Poco X3, but we get Corning gorilla glass 5 on front and rear compared to Poco X3’s cheap plastic back panel. Also, the Mi 10i is slimmer and lighter(Still 215gram) than Poco X3 due to a smaller battery. Xiaomi Mi 10i smartphone will come in Midnight Black, Pacific Sunrise, and Atlantic Blue colour variants.
