It also packs a stellar 2K 120Hz AMOLED display, premium audio tuned by Harman Kardon, Super-Fast Wired, Wireless Charging, 108MP triple camera, 4600 mAh battery. Xiaomi Mi 11 design
Mi 11 boasts a minimal glass sandwich design, with a modest Xiaomi logo and a squircle camera housing on the rear. Getting back to the front panel, we have a curved screen on all four sides, but the curves on top and bottom are subtle. Underneath the Gorgeous Mi 11 display, we have Goodix’s latest optical fingerprint scanner which also supports heart-rate monitoring.
We Have three types of the rear panel in the Mi 11. The Standard edition with a frosted glass back comes in three colour options, blue, white, and black. The standard edition weighs 196g and has a thickness of 8.06mm, which is excellent for a flagship device. Mi 11 also comes in vegan leather options, Khaki Vegan Leather and Smoke Purple Leather. But leather editions have more thickness(8.56mm) but two grams less.
These aren’t the only variants on offer, Xiaomi also launched the Mi 11 Lei Jun Signature Edition (named after its CEO). This limited-run model features “3D textured glass” and Jun’s signature on the back, along with “gift box” packaging.
Mi 11 comes with a Stellar display.
Mi 11 comes with a massive 6.81inches WQHD+(2K) 10-bit HDR10+ AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate and industry leading 480Hz Touch Sampling rate. Mi 11 screen rated A+ and broke 13 records via testing firm DisplayMate, including peak brightness for OLED panels, screen reflectivity, contrast, and colour accuracy.
The Mi 11 is Xiaomi’s third smartphone with QHD+ display, but it has the highest PPI in any Xiaomi phone until yet, rated at 513PPI. The Mi 11 display’s peak brightness is rated 1500nits, but according to Xiaomi, it can reach 1771nits, which is also industry-leading.
It also has the lowest JNDC(0.38) and ∆E(0.41) value in any phone out there, which means it can produce colours very close to natural colours than any smartphone in Standard colour profile.
The four side curved display is covered by Corning Gorilla Glass victus. Which is two times scratch-resistant and 1.5 times drop resistance than Gorilla glass 6. According to Xiaomi Mi 11 display is the most expensive and best in any smartphone.

Compared to standard LPDDR5 the new LPDDR5 RAM is 116% faster, and speed can reach 6400Mbps.
Compared to SD865+ the CPU performance is improved by 30%, energy efficiency is improved by 25%, the new Adreno 660 is the most considerable GPU upgrade in history and new AI engine, and has a computing power of 26TOPS. The Snapdragon 888 has the industry best ISP(image signal processors), DSP and 5G(X60) modem.
Comes with new MIUI 12.5
Along with MI 11, Xiaomi also introduced its latest version of its custom interface, called MIUI 12.5. It is a follow-up of MIUI 12 and comes with massive privacy improvements, New system and notification sounds, optimized application handling, and the ability to receive notifications and do some work on connected Windows devices effortlessly.
Other noticeable improvements include improved aesthetics and visual design, new dynamic wallpaper (peak of Four Sisters Mountain in Sichuan, China), new charging Sound, new boot animation, a new boot sound, new notifications tunes, lot of new privacy features, easy and seamless sync, file transfer, etc. with PC called MIUI+ and many more.
Mi 11 with Not So interesting cameras
If you look at the Mi 11, it is the best in the industry in many things, but it has left enough space for its Pro model to work with when it comes to the camera side. Mi 11 comes with triple cameras on the rear in square camera housing with 108MP primary sensor (f/1.85, 1/1.33 inch sensor size, 0.8-micron pixels, OIS),13MP (f/2.4) ultra-wide camera with a 123-degree FOV, and a 5MP telephoto macro camera. The 5MP telephoto macro camera was previously seen in Poco F2 Pro( Redmi K30 Pro), rated as the best macro camera by many tech reviewers.
Mi 11 packs 8K recording, four-in-one pixel binned shots via the 108MP camera, and a night video mode for brighter low light video. Xiaomi placed a 20MP selfie cam on the front, tucked behind a punch hole in the upper left corner. But if you are into the best camera phone from Xiaomi, you have to wait until Mi 11 Pro releases, in which we see the successor to Mi 10 Ultra camera system.
Battery and Fast Charging.
The Mi 11 comes equipped with a 4,600mAh battery and support for 55W wired charging, 50W wireless, and 10W reverse charging. The device can fully charge from 0-100% in 45 minutes through wired charging and in 53 minutes through wireless charging. The 10W reverse wireless charging helps you to charge other accessories wirelessly. Mi 11 Supports Quick Charge 4+, Quick Charge 3+, and Power Delivery 3.0.
Even though these charging speeds are pretty great, Xiaomi has much faster consumer-ready 120W wired charging and 80W wireless charging. These are probably saved for Pro models to differentiate from the standard modem. Even though 50W wireless charging on Mi 11 is still the fastest in the industry.
No Charger in the Box, But if you need you to get one for Free.
Following Apple’s footsteps, Xiaomi won’t be bundling any charger in the box with the Mi 11. But Unlike Apple who charges $20 for a 20W charger Xiaomi will be offering two versions of Mi 11, one with smartphone only, and the other with the smartphone and a separate 55W GaN charger as a bundle, both at the same price.
Xiaomi Mi 11 charges mainly through USB PD, many consumers having premium laptops typically have a 45W or 65W or 50W PD chargers in the house, for such users, there is no need for a new charger.
